I started the right flap mount with the aileron being set in the neutral position. The aileron hardware was all attached and the jig set in place. Once neutral was found, the flap was set up.
The flap was held in place with several clamps and I ensured the there was a 1.25 inch gap consistent with the aileron and flap.
Once I triple checked all the measurements, I drilled and then clecoed every hole and carried on the length of the flap.
For any future builders, the hinges are -3s. If you can, get the -4s. They give you a little extra wiggle room for any MED issues, which I don't have.
The flap moves freely and will be disassembled to have the flap hinge deburred and then riveted.
